What is Model United Nations ?

The Model United Nations (MUN) movement creates a platform for high school and college students to step into the shoes of United Nations ambassadors through conferences which are held annually on a national and an international scale, where they are given an opportunity to caucus, debate, and suggest new strategies to solve current global issues.

Why should you do MUN?

There are 3 reasons as to why you should join MUN. I recognize them as the 3 L’s of MUN.

1.       Learning: It is a fun and an interesting way to learn about the world. Also it keeps you updated about current global issues

2.       Leadership: Through MUN conferences you get a chance to enhance your public speaking, teamwork, writing, and diplomatic skills; which in turn helps you to develop as a leader.

3.       Leverage: It is a good resume builder. As it is an international movement which is recognized by all the colleges and employers.

What will you find in this wiki?
